A Lifetime in the Kitchen

My passion for baking didn't start with a business plan; it started with a dream. Since I was young, I knew I wanted to be a baker, spending countless hours finding joy in the simple act of creating something delicious for others. That childhood spark eventually met a powerful example of leadership: my father. As a business owner himself, he showed me the dedication and heart required to build something from the ground up. By starting this company, I’m honoring the professional legacy he left behind while finally fulfilling my own lifelong dream.

The heart of our business is built on the strength of family and community. The name Lyon is a tribute to my husband’s family, a name with deep roots and a long-standing history within the community. By carrying this name forward, we are honoring their legacy of connection and service while creating new traditions for the next generation.

Driven by the Next Generation

Today, that same spirit is reflected in our signature cookie, The Ladybug, which was created as a tribute to my daughter. Named after her nickname, it represents the sweetness and vibrancy she brings to our lives. Every treat we bake, from The OG to The Oat-G, is infused with this unique blend of passion, family heritage, and entrepreneurial spirit.
